What's so stunning when looking at the band foto above is .....they're ALL gone except for Rossington and Artimus....unbelievable.

October is always a mixed bag for me: The losses are huge, but then lately it has been brightened by by ABB gigs in Charlotte & Raleigh, ( usually Holanta!!! Sigh!), Dickey tomorrow night in Greenville! Bout a 1/4 mile from where Skynyrd played their last! OK! It will be "One More From the Road" on itunes for the rest of the day!

Wow TanDan, i saw them 4 days before at the St. Pete Bayfront Center on 10/16/77. was going to school in Tampa. i remember that show just being so explosive !! they were on a mission, 4 days later it was over. been playing alot of Skynyrd today. RIP.

Yep. I listened to a couple of CD's this morning at the office before the rest of the staff made it in. Give me Skynyrd and The Allmans and I'm pretty well set. Here's to keeping The Vibe Alive!
