Counting Crows, Ani DiFranco & The Mule

Seems like it is a back to the roots of the jam idea - for this year. No superstar names for the moment. Wired approach - if it is a charity event - the more tickets sold the better.

Hummmm

Its for charity so its hard to complain about the lineup, but yikes.

Thanks for doing it though, Warren.

It was stated by Warren from the beginning that it would be back to one day.
2 days was for the anniversary edition only. So i reckon the first two nighter will
be for the 25th edition.

It is for charity and it is a huge undertaking.
So please DON'T complain.

I understand Warren woks his butt off to put this on and it is a great charity, but with this lineup maybe he's growing tired of what he has to go through. I'll still donate money to the Habitat when I have some extra, but I wouldn't spend a plug nickel to walk across the street to see this lineup. Sorry.

That is an interesting lineup so far. I've never gone and I don't see myself ever going so with that...I think the special guests are much more interesting than the featured artists. So yeah...

It would be niceto a return to the old days where the Mule would kind of serve as a house band and lots of different combinations of artists occur during the concert and maybe something that doesn't last 24 hr.s.

Thats what makes Xmas Jam specail for me... When you walk in that Arena its like Christmas Morning cuz you never know who is gonna pop out from the back of the stage and stir the magic... Beats unwrapping a present hands down!!! Getting older makes walking out of the show at daybreak a little more challanging for sure... The great vibes from the night usually carry me into January and makes the all nighter more than worthwhile.

sorry...i don't see what that has to do w/it. I think it's great of Warren to do this every year....but,IMO,the fact remains...that's a really weak line-up....not a complaint, just an observation.

I agree with Hugh on this. Canceled my hotel reservation. This lineup isn't my cup of tea either.
